Right eye - cloudy

Right eye – cloudy

Right eye - cloudy

Left eye - normal

This is the second time my dog’s right eye has turned cloudy for 1 day or 2 days. It then goes back like the left eye. When I clean her eye it can hurt her if I am not careful.

My dog (mix) is 12 years old. She weights 10 pounds.

Please advise what cause this cloudy in her eye? And what can I do?

Thanks

Hi Kim,

The photos you sent are not very clear. But from what I can see, especially considering your dog’s age, and that she has pain in that eye, I am concerned that she has corneal edema and she may have luxated the lens in her eye.

I suggest that you take her to a veterinary ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
