Dr. Lori Van Haren began her road to practicing holistic veterinary medicine while being raised at Versteegh Brothers Fruit Farms near Lambeth, Ontario. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph then completed her veterinary post-graduate education at the Ontario Veterinary College.
Although Dr. Lori was certified in animal chiropractic while attending the Ontario Veteriny College, she primarily practiced Western (conventional) medicine for the first 15 years of her career. Over the years she became increasingly frustrated with the inability of Western medicine to cure her patients. Simultaneously, she struggled personally with chronic fatigue and myofascial pain. As a result, she delved deeper into holistic medicine and finally began solving problems deemed incurable by conventional practitioners.
Dr. Lori sold her veterinary clinic in 2013 in order to devote 100% of her time to studying alternative medicine.
