Frozen Yogurt Pup Pops
by Melissa Abbott
(Anadarko, Oklahoma, US)
Many of our pups enjoy a frozen treat, but ice is too hard and can actually chip their teeth. Frozen yogurt provides a softer consistency which will not harm our four-pawed friends.
Try this very simple recipe for a frozen treat your dog will love!
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups plain yogurt
- 1/2 Cup your pet's favorite flavor (ie: fruits, veggies, organic peanut butter)
If using a fruit or vegetable, puree or coarsely chop ingredient.
Instructions:
Combine yogurt and your favorite flavor until well mixed.
Pour mixture into ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
When your dog needs a cold treat just pop out one section of frozen goodness and you have an instant pup pop!
